Kimberley Deering, PT

For over twenty five years Kim Deering, PT has sharpened her skills to perfect the best and most advanced physical therapy interventions for her patients in Kingman, Arizona. She is a native of Texas and attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for Physical Therapy School where she met her husband, Kerry Deering, OTR.  After graduation in 1988 she relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where she was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital.  The decision to relocate  from Phoenix to Kingman was to be closer to Kerry's family, escape the brutal "dry" summer heat of Phoenix, and live in a smaller community.  Kingman is truly a gateway to travel to so many varying destinations while still coming home to wide open spaces.

As a Physical Therapist, Kim Deering emphasizes early patient education and requires patients to be actively involved in their treatment plan. She provides in depth education about the mechanics of postural stabilization and alignment, as well as  the importance of the balance between strength and flexibility. This assists patients in achieving pain reduction while improving strengths of specific muscle groups and overall flexibility. After completing a comprehensive initial examination, Kim Deering, PT and the patient will discuss the treatment diagnoses and options for therapeutic intervention will be offered  prior to designing an individualized and comprehensive plan of care.
